Cherry Hills Village
The City of Cherry Hills Village is a home rule municipality located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 6,442 at the 2020 United States Census. Cherry Hills Village is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. The city hosted two PGA Championships (1941 and 1985) and the 2005 U.S. Women's Open at the Cherry Hills Country Club. The community was named for a grove of cherry trees near the original town site. Cherry Hills Country Club
Cherry Hills Country Club is a private country club in the western United States, located in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, a suburb south of Denver. Founded in 1922 and designed by William Flynn, the club features a championship 18-hole golf course, a 9-hole par three course, eight tennis courts, and a lap pool. The nine-hole course is called the Rip Arnold Course, named for the club's head professional from 1939 to 1962. It hosts a pro-member invitational event every September named for Warren Smith, the head pro from 1963 to 1991. 2020 United States Census
The United States census of 2020 was the twenty-fourth decennial United States census. Census Day, the reference day used for the census, was April 1, 2020. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
