''Cherry Blossoms'' () is a 2008 German drama film directed by Doris Dörrie. This film, starring Elmar Wepper, Hannelore Elsner and Aya Irizuki, tells the story of Rudi: terminally ill, he travels to Japan after the sudden death of his wife Trudi – in order to make up for missed opportunities in life. Plot Trudi Angermeir, who has always dreamt of visiting Japan with her husband Rudi, learns that he is terminally ill. Although distraught over the news, she decides against breaking it to him, instead suggesting they visit their youngest son Karl in Tokyo (which he refuses to), or at least their daughter and other son in Berlin, which he reluctantly agrees to. ''Cherry Blossom'' is the fifth studio album by the British pop rock band The Vamps. It was released on 16 October 2020 via EMI Records, and includes the single " Married in Vegas". The album debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, becoming the Vamps' second number-one album in their home country. It is promoted by a concert tour that begun on 6 September 2021. Background The band wrote "half an album quickly" 18 months before the release of the album, in early 2019, but scrapped all of the planned material and started over. Sakura was a Japanese brand of cigarettes that was owned and manufactured by Japan Tobacco. History Sakura was launched on February 1, 2005. Limited sales began in the Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures. The concept is a real cigarette that inspired cherry and sublimed Japanese elements. Old cherry blossom was involved in the development of president Katsuhiko Honda, then president. New Sakura made a more contemporary product such as lowering tar value compared to the old Sakura and introducing D-spec, but the pack design and basic elements had not been changed. Old cherry blossom variant has been discontinued after January 2006. Cherry Blossom is a type of chocolate confection in Canada produced by the Canadian subsidiary of Hershey. "Hershey Canada Inc." used to produce it at its Canadian manufacturing facility in Smiths Falls, Ontario. History The candy had been manufactured since the 1890s by the Walter M. Lowney Company of Canada which was taken over by Hershey as a subsidiary brand. The facility in Smiths Falls, northeast of Kingston, is now closed. A prominent man in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Lowney opened and operated his candy factory in the city, being also involved in the development of other interests in the city.
