Cheongwon-gu () is a non-autonomous district in the city of Cheongju in North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. Cheongwon-gu was established from a part of Sangdang-gu and a part of Cheongwon County, Cheongwon-gun in July 2014. The Hankyoreh, June 30, 2014. Cheongju
Cheongju () is the capital and largest List of cities in South Korea, city of North Chungcheong Province in South Korea. History Cheongju has been an important provincial town since ancient times.
