Chengdu Rongcheng Football Club () is a Chinese professional association football, football club based in Chengdu, Sichuan and their home stadium is the Chengdu Phoenix Hill Football Stadium that has a seating capacity of 50,695. The club currently participates in the Chinese Super League division under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The clubs founder and their majority shareholder is Chengdu Better City Investment Group Co., Ltd. History The club was founded on 7 March 2018 by Chengdu Better City Investment Group Co., Ltd. on the ashes of the dissolved Chengdu Qbao. With the support from the Chengdu Football Association and the appointment of José Carlos Granero as their Head coach the club would start their journey playing within the Chengdu FA Champions League. Chengdu Phoenix Hill Football Stadium
The Phoenix Hill Sports Park Football Stadium () is a association football, football stadium in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, and part of the greater Phoenix Hill Sports Park. The stadium is the home to Chinese Super League club Chengdu Rongcheng F.C., Chengdu Rongcheng. Construction of the stadium began in 2019 and was completed in 2021, and was initially built as a venue for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, before hosting rights were given to Qatar. The stadium was designed by HKS, Inc. The greater Sports Park was used as a venue for the 2021 Summer World University Games, hosting Basketball at the 2021 Summer World University Games, basketball. Geng Xiaofeng
Geng Xiaofeng (; born 15 October 1987) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Chengdu Rongcheng in the Chinese Super League. Club career Geng Xiaofeng joined Shandong Luneng's youth academy at the age of 14 in 2001 and would go on to join their first team when then manager Ljubiša Tumbaković promoted him to act as backup for Li Leilei and then later for Yang Cheng. After several seasons at the club, he did not make an appearance for Shandong until the 2012 league season when on 30 March 2012 in a 1-0 win against Qingdao Jonoon, then manager Henk ten Cate decided to replace Yang, who had made several mistakes in club's first two matches, with Geng whose debut for the club saw him have an outstanding performance. Han Guanghui (; ; born 24 January 1988) is a Chinese footballer of Korean descent who currently plays for Yanbian Longding as left winger or left-back. Club career Han Guanghui was born in Yanji, Jilin before moving to Beijing to join Beijing BIT during the 2008 season. Hu Ruibao (; born 17 October 1996) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Chengdu Rongcheng in the Chinese Super League. Club career Hu Ruibao joined Shanghai Luckystar football academy in 2008 and transferred to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande in December 2013.
