Chen Po-liang
Chen Po-liang (; born 11 August 1988) is a Taiwanese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Chinese Super League side Changchun Yatai. He is also captain of the Taiwan national football team. Club career Early career Chen started to display his goal scoring sense since young age. He was the top goalscorer in the National Futsal Championship, in which he scored 28 goals for Minzu Junior High School of Kaohsiung, in 2003. In 2006, he won the Golden Boot in Highschool Football League when he played for Chung Cheng Industrial Vocational High School. His talent has been recognized by Taiwan PE College professor Chao Jung-jui, who later encouraged him to take several tryouts in Japan, with teams such as Chukyo University, Yokohama F. Marinos, F.C. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. 2011 AFC President's Cup
The 2011 AFC President's Cup was the seventh edition of the AFC President's Cup, a football competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for clubs from "emerging countries" in Asia. Teams from 12 member associations competed. In the qualifying stage, the 12 teams were divided into three groups of four teams each, and the top two teams from each group qualified for the six-team finals to be played at a centralised venue. In the final stage, the qualified six teams were divided into two groups of three teams each. The winners from each group met in the final for the title. TaiPOWER FC became the first Taiwanese team to win the AFC President's Cup with a 3–2 win over Phnom Penh Crown from Cambodia in the final. Hong Kong Pegasus FC () are a Hong Kong football club based in Yuen Long. Founded in 2008, the club currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. History TSW Pegasus was established in June 2008, and they had their first season in 2008–09 Hong Kong First Division League with a budget of about HKD$10,000,000. The 2010 Intercity Football League is the fourth season of the Intercity Football League since its establishment in 2007. It started on April 10, 2010. The promotion and relegation regulations used in the 2009 season were cancelled. The 2010 season had only one division. In addition, the league competitions were separated into 2 rounds. A total of 9 teams competed in the first round, and the best 6 would be qualified to the second round. Famed Taiwanese semiconductor design company MediaTek became the league's major sponsor right before the round 2 began. Therefore, it is also called the MediaTek Intercity Football League.
