Chemical People were an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, in 1986. The band toured the United States, Canada and in Europe and broke up in 1997. History The band's initial line-up was Dave Nazworthy (aka Dave Naz - vocals, drums, guitar), Ed Urlik (bass guitar), Jaime Pina (guitar), and Blair Jobe (vocals, guitar).Strong, Martin C. Dave Smalley
Dave Smalley is an American musician, best known as the lead singer for the hardcore punk bands DYS, Dag Nasty, and All and as lead singer/guitarist with Down by Law. He is known for his influence on pop punk music and his early contributions to the emo genre. He also founded a side project called The Sharpshooters, whose music is influenced by mod revival bands such as The Jam. Smalley has also produced and appeared on Canadian punk band Penelope's second album, ''Face au silence du monde'', recorded by Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studio in Arlington, Virginia. He received a bachelor's degree from Boston College and a masters in political science from California State University Los Angeles. He resides with his family in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he works as a features editor of the Weekender section of the town's newspaper, the ''Free Lance-Star''. Robert Hecker
Robert Hecker (born March 7, 1965), is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter with the bands Redd Kross and It's OK!. Hecker was born in Hermosa Beach, California. He played lead guitar and sang with Redd Kross from 1984 to 1991, and again from 2006 to the present, in addition to occasional on-stage reunions throughout the 1990s. He has also played guitar and sang with the band It's OK! since 1992. As of 2013, he no longer actively tours with Redd Kross, but continues to perform live with It's OK!. Redd Kross
Redd Kross is an American rock band from Hawthorne, California, who had their roots in 1978 in a punk rock band called the Tourists, which was started by brothers Jeff and Steve McDonald while Steve was still in middle school. With the addition of friends Greg Hetson and John Stielow on drums, the band's first gig was opening for Black Flag. The band has since released seven albums and three EPs. Career Red Cross In April 1979, the band had their first practice in the living room of original drummer, John Stielow's parent's living room. The first song they played was 'Annette's Got the Hits'. Other songs such as 'Cover Band', 'S&M Party' and 'I Hate My School' were also played that same first practice.
