''Cheers'' is the Spanish version of the Cheers, popular 1980s American sitcom of same name created by Cyrus James Garcia Andres. It was produced by Plural Entertainment and Tom Collins and broadcast by Telecinco. It was first aired on 11 September 2011, and follows the same theme as its American counterpart. Production On April, the 25th, 2011, Telecinco unveiled the names of the main actors for the new sitcom, Antonio Resines and Alexandra Jiménez. Resines would be Frasier Crane and Jiménez would be Rebecca Howe. Three days later, both producing companies, Plural Entertainment and Tom Collins Productions, started filming the pilot episode. On July the 28th, 2011, Mediaset Spain presented on a press conference the remake of ''Cheers'' with the future main cast members of the series, among them Alberto San Juan. The first season was to have 26 episodes, around 30 minutes of length each. It was released on September the 11th, 2011, with a double episode.

''Cheers'' is an American sitcom television series that ran on NBC from September 30, 1982, to May 20, 1993, with a total of 275 half-hour episodes across 11 seasons. The show was produced by Charles/Burrows/Charles Productions in association with Paramount Television (original), Paramount Network Television, and was created by the team of James Burrows and Glen and Les Charles. The show is set in a bar and namesake Cheers Beacon Hill, Cheers in Boston, where a group of locals in the city meet to drink, relax and socialize. At the center of the show was the bar's owner and head bartender, Sam Malone, who was a womanizing former relief pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. Frasier Crane
Dr. Frasier Winslow Crane (born ) is a fictional character who is both a supporting character on the American television sitcom ''Cheers'' and the titular protagonist of its spin-off ''Frasier'', portrayed by Kelsey Grammer. The character debuted in the ''Cheers'' third-season premiere, " Rebound (Part 1)" (1984), as Diane Chambers's love interest, part of the Sam and Diane story arc. Woodrow Tiberius Boyd is a character on the American television show ''Cheers'', portrayed by Woody Harrelson. Coach Ernie Pantusso
Ernie Pantusso (or Pantuso), commonly known as "Coach", is a fictional character on the American television show ''Cheers'', portrayed by Nicholas Colasanto between 1982 and 1985. Coach is Sam Malone's former baseball coach, who becomes a bartender at Cheers under Sam's ownership. He is not "worldly wise" but has some shred of wit. Clifford C. Clavin, Jr. (born 1947 or 1949) is a fictional character on the American television show '' Cheers'' played by John Ratzenberger. A postal worker, he is the bar's know-it-all and was a contestant on the game show ''Jeopardy!'' El Canto del Loco (''The Singing of the Madman'' in English) was a Spanish pop rock band, although its members recognize that some of their songs are more in the style of power pop. The name of the band comes from the song '' El Canto del Gallo'' by Radio Futura.
