Chedwin Park
Chedwin Park is a cricket ground in Spanish Town, Jamaica. History Chewdin Park was considered by 1970 to have the finest cricket pitch in Jamaica. The first representative match played on the ground came in the 1976–77 Gillette Cup in a List A one-day match between Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. Four years later the ground played host to two first-class cricket matches 1980–81 Shell Shield, with Jamaica playing Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados. A gap of 15 years followed before representative cricket returned to Chedwin Park, with the Leeward Islands playing Trinidad and Tobago in a one-day match in the 1996–97 Shell/Sandals Trophy. Between 1996 and 2005, Chedwin Park regularly played host to one-day matches in the Red Stripe Bowl; the 16th, and to date final, one-day match to be played at the ground was a tour match between Jamaica and the South Africans. Spanish Town ( jam, label=Jamaican Creole, Panish Tong) is the capital and the largest town in the parish of St. Catherine in the historic county of Middlesex, Jamaica. It was the Spanish and British capital of Jamaica from 1534 until 1872. Mervyn Dillon
Mervyn Dillon (born 5 June 1974), is a former West Indian cricketer. He has played 38 in Tests and taken 131 wickets. He has also played 108 One Day Internationals from 1997–2004. He has the unwanted record of most ducks ever in a calendar year by a test batsman. He signed on as an overseas player for the Indian Cricket League in November 2007. International career Dillon was born in Mission Village, Toco, Trinidad and Tobago. United States National Cricket Team
The United States national cricket team is the team that represents the United States in international cricket. The team was formerly organised by the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1965. The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines cricket team is a cricket team representing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and is a member of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control. Corey Dalanelo Collymore (born 21 December 1977) is a former Barbadian cricketer, who represented the West Indies team in both Tests and ODIs cricket as seam bowler. Collymore also played for Barbados, Warwickshire, Sussex and Middlesex in his cricketing career. The Windward Islands cricket team is a cricket team representing the member countries of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control. The team plays in the West Indies Professional Cricket League (including the NAGICO Regional Super50) under the franchise name Windward Islands Volcanoes. Nikita O'Brien Miller (born 16 May 1982) is a West Indian cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies and domestic cricket for Jamaica. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and lower-order batsman. He was the leading wicket taker in the 2007–08 Carib Beer Challenge and in June 2008 he won his first One Day International cap with the West Indies.
