''Cheap'' is the first album by Seasick Steve. It consists of songs by him and his Swedish/Norwegian band The Level Devils, and also two stories from his life as a hobo. The Level Devils consisted of the Norwegian Kai Christoffersen playing the drums and the Swedish Jo Husmo on bass guitar. Blues
Blues is a music genre and musical form which originated in the Deep South of the United States around the 1860s. Blues incorporated spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts, chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads from the African-American culture. Dog House Music
''Dog House Music'' is the second album by Seasick Steve, and his first as a solo artist. It was released on 27 November 2006; however, pre-release CDs were available for sale to members of his site's mailing list. The album is almost entirely performed by Seasick Steve, apart from snare drum on "Yellow Dog" and crash cymbal on "Fallen Off a Rock", performed by H.J. Wold (a relation of Steve, whose real name is Steve Wold), and drums on the hidden track by Steve's son P.M. Wold. The album reached number 37 in the UK Albums Chart, number 1 in the independent album charts, and number 31 in the downloads chart, all three from sales in the UK. Hobo
A hobo is a migrant worker in the United States. Hoboes, tramps and bums are generally regarded as related, but distinct: a hobo travels and is willing to work; a tramp travels, but avoids work if possible; and a bum neither travels nor works. Etymology The origin of the term is unknown. According to etymologist Anatoly Liberman, the only certain detail about its origin is the word was first noticed in American English circa 1890. The term has also been dated to 1889 in the Western—probably Northwestern—United States, and to 1888. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings.
