Chasing The Grail
''Chasing the Grail'' is the fourth studio album from the heavy metal band Fozzy, released on January 26, 2010. It is their first album since the release of '' All That Remains'' five years prior, and is their first and only album as a four-piece. Background In March 2009, the band announced that Riot Entertainment had signed the group to a worldwide deal for the release of a new album. According to guitarist Rich Ward, Riot is the only label worthy of releasing the album. According to lead vocalist Chris Jericho, "For the first time, Fozzy has a ballad on the album and a 14-minute prog rock-inspired tune called 'Wormwood'". According to Jericho, the song 'Broken Soul' is a "'70s-type Southern rock-type ballady-type tune". In June 2009, the band was finishing the last details of the album. Fozzy
Fozzy is an American heavy metal band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999 by lead singer Chris Jericho/Irvine, lead guitarist Rich Ward and drummer Frank Fontsere, who are the longest-serving members of the band and have appeared on all band's releases, although Fontsere left in 2005, rejoined in 2009 & left again in 2022. The band's current lineup consists of Jericho, Ward, second guitarist Billy Grey, bassist P. J. Farley and drummer Grant Brooks. Mike Martin (born May 6, 1974) is an American guitarist, composer and producer, also known by his nickname, "2 of 5". He has worked with such bands and artists as Stuck Mojo, The Duke, Fozzy & is currently working on/with: The Mike Martin Band, Agent Cooper and The Nominees. Early life Mike Martin began his life on stage, literally. Mike's mother was pregnant while she was in college studying and performing opera. Jeff Waters (born February 13, 1966) is a Canadian guitarist and the founder and bandleader of the metal band Annihilator. He was born and resides in Ottawa, Ontario. Hammond Organ
The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond and John M. Hanert and first manufactured in 1935. Multiple models have been produced, most of which use sliding drawbars to vary sounds. Until 1975, Hammond organs generated sound by creating an electric current from rotating a metal tonewheel near an electromagnetic pickup, and then strengthening the signal with an amplifier to drive a speaker cabinet. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family.
