Chase Edmonds
Chase Edmonds (born April 13, 1996) is an American football running back for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Fordham and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Early life Edmonds grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Central Dauphin East High School, where he played basketball and football for the Panthers. As a senior, Edmonds accumulated 2,378 total yards and 25 touchdowns, including 1,984 rushing yards and was a consensus All-State selection. He was selected to play in the Big 33 Football Classic and was named the game's Most Valuable Player. Despite his success on the field, he garnered little interest from FBS programs due to his size. Fordham Rams Football
The Fordham Rams football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Fordham University, located in the borough of The Bronx in New York City. The team competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and are members of the Patriot League. Fordham's first football team was fielded in 1882; the team plays its home games on campus at 7,000-seat Coffey Field. The 2014 Fordham Rams football team represented Fordham University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by third-year head coach Joe Moorhead and played their home games at Coffey Field. They were a member of the Patriot League. They finished the season 11–3, 6–0 in Patriot League play to win the Patriot League championship. They received the Patriot's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs where they defeated the Sacred Heart in the first round before losing in the second round to New Hampshire. The Holy Cross Crusaders football team is the collegiate American football program of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Big 33 Football Classic
The Big 33 Football Classic is an all-star American football game featuring the top high-school football players in Pennsylvania. Played since 1957, the game is often described as the "Super Bowl of High School Football." Contests currently pit players from Pennsylvania against players from Maryland, but opponents in the past have also included players from Ohio and Texas. Recent games have been held at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania. While the game was originally played with the best 33 players in each state (hence its name), the organizers added a 34th player to give kickers a chance to be separate of the 33 count as to give one more non-kicker a chance to be named to the Big 33. Thus, there are 34 players from each state who are invited to play in this game on the original roster. The 2018 NFL Draft was the 83rd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2018 NFL season.
