Chart Show TV
Trace Hits (formerly Chart Show TV and Trace Urban) is a British free-to-air music channel owned by Trace Group. History Chart Show TV launched on 16 September 2002 and initially consisted of several different charts, mimicking the format of the television show upon which it was based. However, many of these were dropped and the channel started showing music videos. The channel broadcast in 4:3 from its launch but switched to 16:9 on 4 February 2008. All of CSC Media Group's other music channels have also switched to 16:9 broadcasting. A new website for Chart Show TV is also under development since its sister channels have had new websites launched. On 5 January 2012, Chart Show TV +1 launched, replacing NME TV. The temporary channel was replaced by BuzMuzik on 30 May 2012. On 1 May 2014, Chart Show TV got a new look with a .tv screen (with 'chart show' being only seen at the beginning of a music video, not to be confused with the defunct channel .tv, which closed in 2001). ...

576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. CSC Media Group, formerly known as Chart Show Channels (CSC), was a British cable television broadcasting company. It was a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Television. The company dissolved on 27 November 2019. Background CSC Media Group was named after the now defunct UK music show ''The Chart Show'', which ran on ITV and Channel 4 for twelve years. CSC evolved from the original Chart Show production company Video Visuals, to Chart Show Channels, which was then acquired in 2007 by private equity group Veronis Suhler Stevenson. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. Bliss (TV Channel)
Bliss was a British music television channel owned and operated by the CSC Media Group (formerly Chart Show Channels). History Early History Bliss was launched in March 2006, replacing The Amp. The channel was owned by British Sky Broadcasting and their sister channels Flaunt and Scuzz were operated by Chart Show Channels. The channel was advertised with the tagline of "Total Chill-out Classics". The channel played classic pop songs and music from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, along with hours dedicated to love songs and power ballads. Every day from 9 am to 12 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm, there was a weekly themed slot, such as Blissful Divas, female artists, or Bliss at The Movies. These themed slots changed every Monday. Stingray CMusic (formerly C Music TV until 30 November 2018) is a British television music channel dedicated to classical and soundtrack music videos, currently owned by Stingray Digital in Canada. The C in the channel's name stands for the genres of the channel's playlist which covers classical music (e.g. Beethoven), crossover music (e.g. Il Divo) and cinema music (original film soundtracks e.g. John Williams). Now 90s was a British free-to-air music television channel, focusing exclusively on playing 1990s music for 10 months of the year (with their Christmas service not only playing hits from the 1990s). The channel originally launched on 23 November 2010 as WTF (Weekly Top Forty). It reached a million viewers in Sky alone each month. The channel was only allowed to have two ad-breaks an hour. Clubland TV is a British free-to-air Dance music channel. It is based from the Clubland compilation albums. Clubland TV airs various sub-genres of dance/EDM from the 90's to the late 2010s, such as electronica, techno, trance, eurodance, house, garage & dance-pop.
