Charokee Young (born 21 August 2000) is a track and field athlete from Jamaica. Career Young came third in the Jamaican national championships over 400 metres in 2022. At the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon Young qualified from the heats for the semi finals in the 400 meters where she placed 16th in 51.41 and ran in the 4 x 400 metres relay in which the team won the silver medal. In February 2024, she competed in the 400 metres at the 2024 World Athletics Championships in Glasgow. She was part of the 4x400m relay team which reached the final in Glasgow. In April 2024, she was selected as part of the Jamiacan team for the 2024 World Athletics Relays in Nassau, Bahamas. Texas A&M Aggies refers to the students, graduates, and sports teams of Texas A&M University. The nickname "Aggie" was once common at land-grant or "ag" (agriculture) schools in many states. The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention.
