Charminar (2013 Film)
''Charminar'' is a 2013 Kannada cinema, Kannada romantic drama film written and directed and produced by R. Chandru, featuring Prem Kumar (Kannada actor), Prem Kumar and Meghana Gaonkar in the lead roles. The film deals with the life of a man in comparison with the famous monument ''Charminar'' in Hyderabad, India, Hyderabad, that shows four important pillars including family, guru, friends and lover. Charminar is produced by R. Chandru films and the soundtrack composed by a newcomer Hari, former Guitarist based out of Hyderabad, India, Hyderabad. The film was remade in Telugu in 2015 as ''Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini'' and in Odia in 2015 as ''Gapa Hele bi Sata''. Prem Kumar, known mononymously as Prem, is an Indian actor who works in Kannada films. He made his acting debut in 2004 through the film ''Praana''. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for ''Nenapirali'' in the year 2005 and for ''Charminar'' in 2013. He is popularly known as Lovely Star in Kannada films. Kunal Ganjawala (born 14 April 1972) is an Indian playback singer whose songs are mostly featured in Hindi and Kannada films.
