Charlie Naimo
Charlie Naimo is currently the technical director of the Western New York Flash in the National Women's Soccer League. Naimo started his USL coaching career in 1998 with the Central Jersey Splash of the W-League. He coached the Splash for two seasons before moving to the New Brunswick Power for the 2000 W-League season. He was named the W-League Coach of the Year in 1999 with the Splash. He returned to the W-League in 2004 to coach the New Jersey Wildcats with great success. In three seasons with the Wildcats, Naimo posted a 47–2–1 record including the 2005 W-League Championship. After spending the 2007 season as head coach of the W-League's Jersey Sky Blues – a predecessor to Sky Blue FC of Women's Professional Soccer, Naimo moved to California, where he started the Pali Blues of the W-League. New Jersey Wildcats
The New Jersey Wildcats is an American women’s soccer team, founded by Vincent Baldino in 1996. The team was a member of the United Soccer Leagues W-League, the second tier of women’s soccer in the United States and Canada. The team played in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference against the D.C. United Women, New Jersey Rangers, Long Island Rough Riders, New York Magic and North Jersey Valkyries. As of April 2018, the Wildcats have merged their teams with Princeton Soccer Association to create the PSA Wildcats. Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues was an American women’s soccer team, founded in 2006. Pali Blues was an American women's soccer team, which played from 2008 to 2014. The team was a member of the United Soccer Leagues USL W-League, the second tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. Orange County Soccer Club is an American soccer team based in the Orange County, California city of Irvine. The Western New York Flash (WNY Flash) was an American soccer club based in Elma, New York that competed in the United Women's Soccer league. They have won league championships in four different leagues: the USL W-League in 2010, Women's Professional Soccer in 2011, Women's Premier Soccer League Elite in 2012, and the National Women's Soccer League in 2016. The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a professional women's soccer league at the top of the United States league system. It is owned by the teams and, until 2020, was under a management contract with the United States Soccer Federation. Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) was the top-level professional women's soccer league in the United States. It began play on March 29, 2009. The league was composed of seven teams for its first two seasons and fielded six teams for the 2011 season, with continued plans for future expansion.
