Charlie Allen (born 24 March 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Isthmian League club Cray Wanderers. Playing career Allen began his career at Brentford joining the club in 2006 from Reading, whilst his father was first-team manager at Griffin Park. Allen progressed into the youth team but was not offered a professional contract at the end of his two-year scholarship. During the summer he spent sometime at a Swedish fourth division club Ånge IF. After that Allen joined Dagenham & Redbridge youth academy, playing for Billericay Town on dual-registration, before signing at Notts County for the start of the 2011–12 season. He made his debut in a 2–0 defeat to Preston North End at Deepdale on 27 August 2011, before he was replaced by Alan Judge after 67 minutes. Dennis Allen (footballer)
Dennis James Allen (2 March 1939 – 9 July 1995) was an English football player and manager. Born in Romford, Allen represented Charlton Athletic (1956–1961), Reading (1961–1970) and Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic (1970–1971) as an inside-forward. He scored 89 goals in 358 league appearances. Dennis went on to be player-manager at Cheltenham Town. His brother Les (b. 1937), son Martin (b. 1965), grandson Charlie Allen (b. 1992), great-nephew Oliver (b. 1986) and nephews Bradley (b. 1971), Clive (b. 1961) and Paul Allen (b. 1962) all played football professionally. Alan Christopher Judge (born 11 November 1988) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Colchester United and the Republic of Ireland national team. Judge began his career at Blackburn Rovers and returned to the club in 2013 after a two-and-a-half season spell with Notts County. Judge spent the second half of the 2013–14 season on loan at Brentford in League One, before signing for the club permanently in the summer of 2014. Deepdale is a football stadium in the Deepdale area of Preston, England, the home of Preston North End.
