''The Voice of Germany'' is a German reality talent show created by John de Mol, based on the concept ''The Voice of Holland'' and its international series. It began airing on ProSieben and Sat.1 on 24 November 2011. There are five different stages to the show: producers' auditions, blind auditions, battle rounds, sign offs, and live shows. There have been twelve winners to date: Ivy Quainoo, Nick Howard, Andreas Kümmert, Charley Ann Schmutzler, Jamie-Lee Kriewitz, Tay Schmedtmann, Natia Todua, Samuel Rösch, Claudia Emmanuela Santoso, Paula Dalla Corte, Sebastian Krenz, and the latest Anny Ogrezeanu. The Voice Of Germany (season 12)
The twelfth season of the talent show ''The Voice of Germany'' premiered on 18 August 2022. The show was broadcast by two local TV stations, ProSieben and Sat.1, during the ''Blind Auditions'' and the ''Battles''. The rest episodes of the season were broadcast by Sat.1 only. Mark Forster (singer), Mark Forster returned for his sixth season. Rea Garvey and Silbermond, Stefanie Kloß, who last appeared on The Voice of Germany (season 10), season 10, returned as coaches for their seventh and fourth seasons respectively, replacing Johannes Oerding and Sarah Connor (singer), Sarah Connor. Peter Alexander Makkay (born 30 August 1949), known as Peter Maffay (), is a Romanian-born German musician, singer, and composer. Early life Born in Braşov (german: link=no, Kronstadt), Romania, the son of a German (Transylvanian Saxon), he was 14 when his family relocated to his parents' West Germany in 1963. Elif Demirezer (born 12 December 1992 in Berlin) currently known by her stage name ELIF, is a German musician of Turkey, Turkish descent. Johannes Oerding (born 26 December 1981) is a German singer-songwriter. Early life Oerding was born in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia and raised in Geldern-Kapellen near the border of the Netherlands. His father is a country doctor, while his mother is a nurse. Michael Anthony Schulte (; born 30 April 1990) is a German singer and songwriter.
