Charles Perry (Canadian Politician) in 1854. Perry served as mayor of Peterborough in 1853 and from 1861 to 1865. He was an unsuccessful candidate for a seat in the legislative assembly for the Province of Canada in a by-election held in 1864. Perry was a customs collector at Peterborough from 1873 to 1876 and died in Peterborough in the latter year. Charles Perry is an American politician and accountant serving as a member of the Texas Senate from the 28th district. He assumed office on September 30, 2014. He was previously a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 83rd district from 2010 to 2014. Early life and education Perry is a native of Lubbock, Texas. After graduating from Sweetwater High School in Sweetwater, Texas, Perry earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and management information systems from Texas Tech University. Charlie Perry (footballer, Born 1866)
Charles Perry (3 January 1866 – 2 July 1927) was an English football centre-half who played for West Bromwich Albion and England. Biography Perry was born in West Bromwich. He joined West Bromwich Albion in March 1884 and turned professional in August 1885. He made his first team debut in the 1886 FA Cup Final against Blackburn Rovers at The Oval, a match that finished 0–0. Perry collected a runners-up medal after Albion lost 2–0 in the replay. He was on the losing side once more in the 1887 final, in a 2–0 defeat to Aston Villa. He picked up his first winner's medal in 1888 as Albion beat Preston North End 2–1. Charlie Perry made his league debut on 8 September 1888, at centre-half for West Bromwich Albion in a 2–0 win against Stoke at the Victoria Ground, Stoke. Charles Perry (17 February 1807 – 2 December 1891) was an English Australian, who served as the first Anglican Bishop of Melbourne, Australia and was a university administrator. Early life Perry was born in Hackney, Middlesex, the third son of John Perry, sheriff of Essex and shipbuilder, and his second wife, Mary, daughter of George Green. The Perrys and the Greens were deeply involved with Blackwall_Yard, one of the largest private shipyards in the world. George Green was a noted philanthropist, underwriting the architecturally significant Trinity Independent Chapel and its associated "minister's house, sailors' home, schools, and almshouses" and has a school named after him.
