Charles Okere
Charles Okere Okoth (born 23 April 1981) is a Kenyan professional association football coach who is currently the assistant coach of the ''Harambee Stars,'' the Kenya national football team. Career Okere served as coach at Mathare Youth Sports Association before moving to Nairobi-based club Kenya Commercial Bank S.C. (KCB) to serve as the assistant coach. In April 2018, he joined Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC, as assistant coach to Robert Matano. Over there, he doubled as club's youth head coach. The duo helped team in winning 2020–21 FKF Premier League. Kenya Women On 9 April 2021, Okere was appointed to serve as the assistant coach of the Kenya women's national football team to David Ouma, however on 12 April, he was appointed as head coach of the ''Harambee Starlets'' team replacing David Ouma, after he had parted ways with the Kenyan Federation on mutual consent. Harambee is a Kenyan tradition of community self-help events, e.g. fundraising or development activities. The word means "all pull together" in Swahili language, Swahili, and is the official List of national mottos, motto of Kenya, appearing on its Coat of arms of Kenya, coat of arms. Moi International Sports Centre
The Moi International Sports Centre (abbreviated as MISC) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, Kenya. It was built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. The facilities include a 60,000 seat arena with a running track and a pitch used for football and rugby union, a competition size swimming pool, an indoor arena and a 108-bed capacity hotel. Located at 1,612 metres above sea level, it is slightly above 1 mile in altitude. The 2021 CAF Women's Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers is the 1st edition of the CAF Women's Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers, a women's club football championship organised by the CECAFA for the women's clubs of association nations. Kenya Women's National Under-20 Football Team
The Kenya women's national under-20 football team represents Kenya at an under-20 level in women's football and is controlled by the Football Kenya Federation. The team In 2006, the under-19 national team had 2 training sessions a week. The country participated in the African Women U-20 Championship 2006.
