Charles Meredyth (died 1710)
Charles Meredyth (died 1710) was an Irish politician. Meredyth was the eldest son of Thomas Meredyth and Letitia Fortescue, and the grandson of Richard Meredith. He was a cornet in The Lord General's Regiment of Foot Guards in 1661 and was serving in the Duke of Albemarle's Regiment of Horse in 1662. He was appointed High Sheriff of Meath on 23 November 1678. Meredyth sat in the Irish House of Commons as the Member of Parliament for County Meath from 1692 to 1693. He then represented Kells from 1695 to 1699 and again between 1702 and his death in 1710.E. Thomas Meredyth (died 1677)
Sir Thomas Meredyth (died 1677) was an Irish politician. Meredyth was the son of Richard Meredith and Sarah Bathow. He was admitted to Trinity College Dublin in 1609 and to Lincoln's Inn in 1628. On 15 July 1630 he was knighted by his step-father, Adam Loftus, 1st Viscount Loftus. John Dillon (politician)
John Dillon (4 September 1851 – 4 August 1927) was an Irish politician from Dublin, who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for over 35 years and was the last leader of the Irish Parliamentary Party. By political disposition Dillon was an advocate of Irish nationalism, originally a follower of Charles Stewart Parnell, supporting land reform and Irish Home Rule. Early life John Dillon was born in Blackrock, Dublin, a son of the former "Young Irelander" John Blake Dillon (1814–1866). Following the premature death of both his parents, he was partly raised by his father's niece, Anne Deane. He was educated at Catholic University School, at Trinity College Dublin and at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. Brinsley Butler, 1st Viscount Lanesborough (1670–6 March 1735) was an Irish politician and peer. Butler was the son of Francis Butler and Judith Jones. He represented Kells in the Irish House of Commons between 1703 and 1713, before sitting for Belturbet from 1713 to 1724. Upon the death of his brother Theophilus Butler on 11 March 1724 he succeeded to his peerage and assumed his seat in the Irish House of Lords.
