Charles Hall (24 September 1847 – 6 June 1909) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Biography Hall was born in London, England in 1847. He later resided in De Pere, Wisconsin and Oconto, Wisconsin. During the American Civil War, he served with the 39th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment of the Union Army. Charles Hall (1843 – 29 May 1937) was a Liberal Party Member of Parliament in New Zealand. He represented the Waipawa electorate from 1893 to 1896 when he was defeated, then from 1899 to 1911 when he retired. Biography Early life Hall was born at Malton, Yorkshire in 1843. His first wife, Eliza died in her youth leaving Hall a widower. They had one child, a daughter. Hall decided to shift to New Zealand and arrived at Napier in the ship ''Countess of Kintore'' in 1875 and entered the building trade upon arrival. Hall started up trade in Napier where he married Marian Dinsdale in 1878, the marriage issued two children one daughter and one son. He was keenly interested in land settlement and in 1880 took up a bush section in northern Manawatu. His family's home was destroyed in a bush fire and he and his family moved to Woodville where he again entered the building trade. Charles Hall (died 1 December 1669) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1654 and 1656. Hall was probably the son of Thomas Hall of Barlow Lees, Derbyshire. He matriculated from Trinity College, Cambridge at Easter 1619 and was admitted at Lincoln's Inn on 15 November 1619. Sir Charles Hall (3 August 1843 – 9 March 1900) was a British lawyer and politician. He was the second son of Sir Charles Hall (1814–1883) and his wife, Sarah née Duval. After attending Harrow School, he studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, and under James Hannen, Baron Hannen at Lincoln's Inn. He was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn on 17 November 1866, and built up a large practice in the Admiralty court and the south-east of England, becoming a Queen's Counsel in 1881. He was made a Bencher of the Middle Temple in 1884. From 1877 he was attorney-general to the Prince of Wales, and he apparently was a great favourite with the Prince and his wife. Charles Hall Dillon (December 18, 1853 – September 15, 1929) was a member of the United States House of Representatives from South Dakota (1913–19). He later served on the South Dakota Supreme Court. He was born near Jasper, Indiana in 1853. Charles Hall (1690–1743) ), of Kettlethorpe, Lincolnshire, was a British Tory politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1727 to 1734. Hall was baptized on 6 May 1690, the only son of Thomas Hall of Kettlethorpe and his wife Amy Mildmay, daughter of Henry Mildmay of Graces, Essex. She was previously married to Vincent Amcotts of Harrington, Lincolnshire. He succeeded his father in 1698 and, after he came of age, built the present house at Kettlethorpe Hall in the early 1700s. Charles Hall (born 13 November 1979) is a British racing driver from Sheffield, England. After beginning racing in karts, he moved to car racing in 1997 at age 18 in BARC Formula Renault and the Formula Vauxhall Winter Series. He finished second in the main championship of Formula Vauxhall the following year in 1998. In 1999 he drove in the British Formula Three Championship B-class and finished 5th in the Formula Vauxhall Europa Cup. In 2000 he competed in British Formula Renault and finished 6th with one victory at Silverstone Circuit. After starting 2001 in Formula Renault 2000 UK, he moved to the United States mid year to compete in Toyota Atlantic. In 2002 he competed in several different series. He also appeared for the Yorkshire Second XI during this time. Born in York, England, Hall was a right arm medium fast bowler, who took 45 wickets at 27.24, with a best of 6 for 71 against Middlesex County Cricket Club, Middlesex. He had another fine match against Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Leicestershire, bagging 5 for 27. As a right-handed batsman, Hall scored 67 runs at 5.15, with a top score of 15 not out. Charles John Hall (12 August 1848 – 18 November 1931) was an English cricketer. Hall was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm roundarm fast. He was born at Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. Hall made his first-class debut for Surrey against the Marylebone Cricket Club in 1868 at The Oval. He made seven further first-class appearances for the county, the last of which came against Gloucestershire in 1873. In his eight first-class matches, he scored 71 runs at an average of 5.91, with a high score of 15. With the ball, he took a single wicket (that of the Marylebone Cricket Club's Arthur Becher in 1872). He died at Heybridge, Essex, on 18 November 1931.
