Charles Faulkner (born January 12, 1952) is an Americans, American practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), life coach, motivational speaker, Trader (finance), trader and author. He has written several books and audio tapes on NLP, which is largely considered a pseudoscience Biography In 1990, after several years observing the decision-making strategies of traders such as Richard Dennis, Jim Rogers, Paul Tudor Jones and Tom Baldwin (trader), Tom Baldwin, Faulkner himself became a trader. His first trade in 1992 was a failure, though he closed the year at a profit. Three years later, Jack D. Schwager included a profile of Faulkner in ''The New Market Wizards: Conversations with America's Top Traders.'' In the late 1990s, Faulkner moved to England. Along with other NLP trainers, he has modelled strategies for industries including rehabilitation, finance, medicine, sports, and bereavement. Charles Draper Faulkner (March 11, 1890 – December 31, 1979) was a Chicago-based Americans, American architect renowned for the churches and other buildings that he designed in the United States and Japan. He designed over 33 Christian Science church buildings and wrote a book called ''Christian Science Church Edifices''. Early life and education Charles Draper Faulkner was born in San Francisco, California, After graduating from Calumet High School in Chicago, he went to Armour Institute of Technology, now Illinois Institute of Technology and in 1913 received a B.S. in Architecture. Most of his senior year at A.I.T. was spent on a traveling scholarship in Canada and six countries in Europe. Charles James Faulkner (September 21, 1847January 13, 1929) was a United States senator from West Virginia. Early life Born on the family estate, "Boydville," near Martinsburg, Virginia (now West Virginia). His father was Charles James Faulkner Sr., a U.S. Representative from Virginia and West Virginia and U.S. Minister to France. He accompanied his father to France 1859; he attended school in Paris and Switzerland. He returned to the United States in 1861, and during the Civil War entered the Virginia Military Institute at Lexington in 1862. He served with the cadets in the Battle of New Market. Charles Joseph Faulkner (1833–1892) was a British mathematician and fellow of University College, Oxford and a founding partner of Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. where he worked with his sisters Kate Faulkner and Lucy Faulkner Orrinsmith. Artistic career Faulkner was part of a group of Birmingham men at Pembroke College, Oxford known among themselves as the "Brotherhood" and to historians as the Birmingham Set, along with Richard Watson Dixon and William Fulford. Through them he met William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones, with whom he worked on a number of projects, including the Oxford Union murals and the decoration of Red House. Charles William Faulkner was a printer and publisher who initially produced Christmas cards with a partner. He then became sole proprietor of the business which was incorporated as the limited company, C. W. Faulkner & Co., in 1905. The business expanded to produce a variety of printed products including calendars, diaries, games, playing cards and postcards. It was based at number 79, Golden Lane, London while much of the high-quality printing was done in Germany. The illustrations were produced by artists including John Bacon, Albert Ernest Kennedy, George Washington Lambert and Ethel Parkinson. The games included variations of traditional games like Happy Families, Snap, Tiddlywinks and the egg-and-spoon race. Charles Faulkner Bryan (July 26, 1911 – July 7, 1955) was an American composer, musician, music educator and collector of folk music. Life and career Bryan was born in McMinnville, Tennessee in 1911. He was attracted to music from a young age and became particularly interested in the music of the Appalachian region. In addition to being a pioneer in the study of folk music, Bryan is considered by many to be one of Tennessee's greatest composers and musicians. Bryan also taught at Tennessee Polytechnic Institute in Cookeville, Tennessee, where he was head of the Department of Music from 1936 to 1939. During the Great Depression, he worked as a director of music and library projects of the federal Works Projects Administration in their southeastern region.
