Charles Brewer (baseball)
Charles Robert Brewer (born April 7, 1988) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks during the 2013 and 2014 seasons, and for the Cleveland Indians during the 2015 season. Career Amateur Brewer attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he played college baseball for the UCLA Bruins baseball team. In 2007 and 2008, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Chatham A's of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Arizona Diamondbacks The Diamondbacks selected Brewer in the 12th round of the 2009 MLB Draft. He made his MLB debut on June 10, 2013. Cleveland Indians The Diamondbacks traded Brewer to the Cleveland Indians for cash considerations on November 22, 2014. Seattle Mariners He was released by the Seattle Mariners in March 2016. Reno Aces
The Reno Aces are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. They are located in Reno, Nevada, and play their home games at Greater Nevada Field, which opened in 2009. The Aces have been members of the PCL since 2009, including the 2021 season in which it was known as the Triple-A West. They won the PCL championship in 2012 and 2022. Ashley Brewer (born December 13, 1991) is best known for being a sports anchor/reporter for ESPN. She was hired to be one of the hosts of ''The Replay'' on Quibi and a part of the rotation of ''SportsCenter''. In 2021, she became a co-host on '' SportsNation'' on ESPN+. Early life and education Brewer was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She went to Chaparral High School in Phoenix, where she was a 12-time prep All-American as a swimmer and the 2009 Arizona 4A state champion in the 100m backstroke.
