Charles Alaimalo
Charles Alaimalo (born 14 June 1999 in New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby union player. His usual position is as a Flanker and he currently plays for in the NPC. Alaimalo represented in the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Mitre 10 Cups, scoring 4 tries in 30 appearances. In March 2021, he joined Italian side Zebre for the remainder of the 2020–21 Pro14 season and Pro14 Rainbow Cup. The 2020–21 PRO14 (also known as the ''Guinness PRO14'' for sponsorship reasons) was the twentieth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League. It was the fourth season to be referred to as the ''PRO14'' (the competition was named the ''Pro12'' immediately prior to the addition of two South African teams). Zebre Parma (, meaning "Zebras") are an Italian professional rugby union team competing in the United Rugby Championship and EPCR competitions from the 2012–13 season. Pro14 Rainbow Cup
The Pro14 Rainbow Cup (also known as the Guinness Pro14 Rainbow Cup for sponsorship reasons) was a professional rugby union end-of-season cup competition played in 2021 that consisted of two separate tournaments: the Rainbow Cup for twelve European clubs and the Rainbow Cup SA for four South African clubs. The winners of each competition then played a final match to determine the overall winner. The tournament operated as a shortened 'Spring season' to allow for the integration of the four new South African teams into the United Rugby Championship ahead of the 2021–22 season. 2019 Mitre 10 Cup
The 2019 Mitre 10 Cup season was the fourteenth season of New Zealand's provincial rugby union competition since it turned professional in 2006. The regular season began on August 8, when Southland hosted Northland. It involved the top fourteen rugby unions of New Zealand. For sponsorship reasons, the competition was known as the Mitre 10 Cup and it was the fourth season under the lead sponsor. The winner of the Championship, Bay of Plenty was promoted to the Premiership, the seventh placed Premiership team, Counties Manukau was relegated to the Championship. National Provincial Championship (2006–present)
The National Provincial Championship, often simply called the NPC, is an annual round-robin rugby union competition in men's domestic New Zealand rugby. First played during the 2006 season, it is the second highest level of competition in New Zealand alongside the Ranfurly Shield. It is organised by New Zealand Rugby (NZR) and since 2021, it has been known as the Bunnings NPC after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Farah Palmer Cup. Following the 2005 season the league was restructured into a two-tier competition.
