''Charade'' is the first album by a new group from former members of the band Bonfire. It was released in 1998 by Bareknuckle. It was shelved by the band's record company and the group went their separate ways. After Claus Lessmann and Hans Ziller purchased the rights to the name of Bonfire and music from 1986 to 1991, Michael Bormann and Angel Schleifer decided to give the previously shelved album a chance. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. In the late 1960s, bands such as Blue Cheer, the Jeff Beck Group, Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Golden Earring, Steppenwolf and Deep Purple also produced hard rock. The genre developed into a major form of popular music in the 1970s, with the Who, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple being joined by Queen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Kiss, and Van Halen. II (Charade Album)
''II'' is the second album by Charade, the group that evolved from Bonfire. It was released in 2004 by Drakkar Records and BMG International. The album was recorded over a period of six years due to when Michael Bormann was available to record, Angel Schleifer was busy. Then it was vice versa until finally the duo managed to find time to finish the product. One track, Somebody's Waiting, was left over from the original recordings made in 1993. This album has two versions in the market. The original, sold in Japan, was a single CD of the album. The special edition was sold worldwide and contained two CDs, the II album as well as the 1998 debut album. Bonfire (band)
Bonfire (originally Cacumen) is a German heavy metal band, founded by Hans Ziller in Ingolstadt in 1972. In 1986, based on the advice of the record company and the management, the band changed its name to Bonfire. Original founder Ziller is still in the band and is the only one who has the rights to the Bonfire name. Biography Cacumen (1972–1986) In 1972, in the Bavarian town of Ingolstadt the teenaged guitarist Hans Ziller, put together a rock band called Cacumen with his guitarist brother Karl and gathered a bunch of friends to complete the band. The name of the group was taken from a school test Hans had done and it translates from Latin as "the top of a mountain". For the next six years, the band played in small local venues, but formed a fan base in their hometown. Jörg Deisinger
Joerg Deisinger (born Jörg Deisinger) is a German musician and the former bassist and a founding member of the German 1980s heavy metal band Bonfire. Early life and Bonfire Deisinger was born in Nuremberg, Germany, on 23 April 1966. His pre-teen obsession with learning how to play guitar eventually became a full-fledged pursuit of becoming a rock star. When it became clear he had a genuine chance of realizing his dream, Deisinger quit his apprenticeship as an electrician to devote himself to music full-time.Deisinger, J. & Begai, C. (2008), Fire And Fame', BOD Publishing GmbH, Deisinger joined German hard rock band as a bassist Cacumen in 1985, which would change its name to Bonfire in May 1986 in the interest of having a catchier moniker to push their new album, Don't Touch the Light. Steve Plunkett
Autograph is an American glam metal band formed in Pasadena, California, in 1983. The band is best known for their 1984 hit song " Turn Up the Radio". Due to the song being their only major success, Autograph is often considered a one-hit wonder. History Formation and classic years (1983–1988) Autograph originally began in late 1983, as a solo project for singer, songwriter and guitarist Steve Plunkett, who had recently left the band Silver Condor. Plunkett was playing and recording his own material with a group of his musician friends, most of whom had previously played with him in other bands: On lead guitar was Steve Lynch, who had played with Plunkett in the band Looker. Robin McAuley
Robin McAuley (born 20 January 1953) is an Irish singer. He is best known as the vocalist for the rock band McAuley Schenker Group from 1986 to 1993, which saw the band release three studio albums: '' Perfect Timing'', '' Save Yourself'', '' M.S.G.'', the live album '' Unplugged Live'', and the Japan-only EP '' Nightmare: The Acoustic M.S.G.'' He has made further appearances with Schenker in 2012, and also in 2016 with Michael Schenker Fest alongside original MSG singers Gary Barden and Graham Bonnet, and Doogie White of Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock. in 1991, he did a song called "Teach Me How to Dream" from the 1991 spy action comedy film ''If Looks Could Kill'' on the film's soundtrack as the love theme.
