James William Chappell (born in Michigan in 1955), professionally known as Jim Chappell, is an American New Age and jazz pianist. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Chappell placed five albums in the Top Twenty of ''Billboard's'' Top New Age Albums chart, and placed another album in the Top Twenty of their Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. Recording history Chappell's first album, ''Tender Ritual'', was a collection of piano solos released in 1985 on his own Unspeakable Freedom label. In 1986, Chappell was signed with the newly formed Music West Records. That same year, Chappell released ''Dusk'', another collection of piano solos. Warren Chappell
Warren Chappell (1904, Richmond, Virginia – March 26, 1991, Charlottesville, Virginia) was an American illustrator, book and type designer, and author. Education He was a graduate of the University of Richmond, and then studied at the Art Students League of New York, under Boardman Robinson, where he later taught. In 1931-2 he studied type design and punch-cutting under Rudolf Koch at the Design School Offenbach in Germany. In 1935 he studied illustration at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. The University of Richmond awarded him an honorary D.F.A. in 1968. In 1970 his work in the graphic arts was recognized by the Rochester Institute of Technology, with the presentation of their Goudy Award. Urso Chappell
Urso Chappell was an American graphic designer, writer and world's fair historian born in 1967 in St Louis who died in December 2020. He created ExpoMuseum.com in 1998 and the World's Fair Podcast in 2009. In 2004, he won the international competition to design the exterior of the Expo 2005 Linimo train. Thomas Matthew Chappell (born 1943) is an American businessman and manufacturer who co-founded Tom's of Maine in 1970, and Ramblers Way, a wool clothing company, with his wife, artist Kate Chappell. Chappell graduated from the Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island in 1961, and from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, with a B.A. in English in 1966. Kevin Alan Chappell (born July 8, 1986) is an American professional golfer who is currently playing on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Chappell was born in Fresno, California. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he won the Jack Nicklaus Award as the collegiate player of the year in 2008. He also won the Arnold Palmer Award for claiming the NCAA championship. Julie Louise Jo "Jules" Chappell (born 2 April 1978) is a British diplomat who served as British Ambassador to Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras from 2009 to 2012.
