Changeman
is a Japanese television series and the ninth installment of the Super Sentai metaseries. It aired from February 2, 1985 to February 22, 1986, replacing '' Choudenshi Bioman'' and was replaced by ''Choushinsei Flashman'' running for 55 episodes, making it the second longest after ''Himitsu Sentai Goranger''. It is the third Super Sentai series after ''J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai'' and '' Battle Fever J'' where the Yellow Ranger is absent, followed by 2013's '' Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger'' and 2019's ''Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger''. Plot After conquering hundreds of planets, the Star Cluster Gozma sets its sights on Earth. To defend it, the Japanese military forms an elite Earth Defense Force. Under Commander Ibuki, the force begins rigorous training. Meanwhile, as their first act, the Gozma decide to eliminate those who pose the greatest risk of interfering with their invasion: the military. Super Sentai
is a Japanese superhero team metaseries and media franchise consisting of television series and films produced by Toei Company, and Bandai, and aired by TV Asahi ("Sentai" is the Japanese word for "task force" or "fighting squadron"). Shiro Izumi
is a former Japanese actor, well known for his roles in the Super Sentai franchise. He played two different central characters there: Yuuma Oozora/Change Pegasus in ''Dengeki Sentai Changeman'' and the role for which he gained the most attention, Burai/Dragon Ranger in ''Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger''. His tenure as Burai was so popular and successful that when his character died in ''Zyuranger'', a letter writing campaign was undertaken by fans of the series to have him brought back. While the writers ultimately decided to have Burai remain dead as a way of showing the younger viewers that even heroes die at times, Izumi returned to the role briefly as Burai's ghost toward the end of the series. Choudenshi Bioman
is Toei Company's eighth installment in the Super Sentai metaseries. Its 51 episodes aired on TV Asahi from February 4, 1984 to January 26, 1985, replacing ''Kagaku Sentai Dynaman'' and was replaced by ''Dengeki Sentai Changeman'' with a movie being released during the show's initial run. It is the first Super Sentai series to have two females in the main five as well as the first Super Sentai series to have a female Yellow Ranger. Choushinsei Flashman
is the tenth installment in the ''Super Sentai'' metaseries produced by Toei Company. It was broadcast on TV Asahi from March 1, 1986, to February 21, 1987 , replacing ''Dengeki Sentai Changeman'' and was replaced by ''Hikari Sentai Maskman'' with 50 episodes. It was the first Sentai series that introduced a second giant robot, Titan Boy. Yutaka Izubuchi designed all the characters in the series. is the Toei Company's 37th entry in its long-running ''Super Sentai'' metaseries of Japanese tokusatsu television series following ''Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters''. Takeshi Watabe
was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born in Kōchi Prefecture. He usually played villains and performed the voices for many ''anime'' characters and ''tokusatsu'' villains. He is most famous for voicing Kaminari in ''Doraemon''. He took over the ongoing roles of Shingo Kanemoto after his death. Hiroshi Masuoka (voice Actor)
was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Minami, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He voiced the roles of Masuo Fuguta in ''Sazae-san'' and Jam Ojisan in ''Soreike! Anpanman''. He also voiced Kame-Sennin during the last episodes of ''Dragon Ball Z'' and all of ''Dragon Ball GT'', following Kōhei Miyauchi's death. He worked for the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society until his death in 2020. On August 5, 2019, it was announced that Masuoka had retired from his roles in ''Sazae-san'' and ''Soreike! Anpanman'', which would be taken over by Hideyuki Tanaka and Kōichi Yamadera respectively. Masuoka died on March 21, 2020 from rectal cancer. was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator who worked for Haikyo (Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society). Kato was born in Tokyo.
