"Change the Game" is the second single from rapper Jay-Z from his 2000 album '' The Dynasty: Roc La Familia''. It features guest raps by Memphis Bleek and Beanie Sigel, production from Rick Rock and backing vocals by Static Major. Upon release, the song's intention was to promote Sigel and Bleek, but Steve Juon of RapReviews.com considers Jay-Z to outperform both rappers. A music video directed by David Meyers was made for "Change the Game." Remix A remix to Change the Game features Bleek and Sigel, along with Tha Dogg Pound members Daz and Kurupt. The remix appears on ''The Professional 2'' album by DJ Clue. It can also be found on Tha Dogg Pound compilation album ''2002''. Critical reception The song received positive reviews. Rap Reviews wrote "Even though Beans and Memph both have raps on this song, Jay starts and ends the track with the best flow and lyrics throughout." Delmar Drew Arnaud (born May 25, 1973), known professionally as Daz Dillinger (formerly Dat Nigga Daz and commonly Daz), is an American rapper and record producer. In the 1990s at Death Row Records, aided the catapult of West Coast rap and gangsta rap into the mainstream. He is one half of the rap duo tha Dogg Pound, along with Kurupt. Daz learned production from Dr. Dre in working on Dre's debut solo album, ''The Chronic'', in 1992. Rhythmic contemporary, also known as Rhythmic Top 40, Rhythmic CHR or rhythmic crossover, is a primarily American music-radio format that includes a mix of EDM, upbeat rhythmic pop, hip hop and upbeat R&B hits. ''Death Row Presents... Tha Dogg Pound 2002'' is the first compilation album by American West Coast hip hop group Tha Dogg Pound. It was released on July 31, 2001 by Death Row Records and D3 Entertainment. It comprises unreleased material recorded by Tha Dogg Pound while they were signed on to Death Row Records, remixed and updated by the then-head producer Cold 187um. Tha Dogg Pound were signed to Daz Dillinger's D.P.G. Recordz and released their own album that year called '' Dillinger & Young Gotti'' under DPG alias.
