Chang Zhenming
Chang Zhenming (Simplified Chinese: 常振明), born October 1956 in Beijing, China, is the Chairman of CITIC Group and the Chairman and Managing Director of CITIC Group's Hong Kong listed subsidiary company, CITIC Pacific. Education and early life From 1971 to 1977, Chang Zhenming worked at the Dining Hall of the School Affairs Department at Tsinghua University. From 1979 to 1983, he studied Japanese Literature at the Beijing International Studies University, then from 1984 to 1985, he received on-job training at Daiwa Securities in Japan. Chen Zude
Chen Zude ( Traditional: 陳祖德; Simplified: 陈祖德; Pinyin: Chén Zǔdé; February 19, 1944 – November 1, 2012) was a Chinese professional Go player. He was also the President of the Chinese Chess Association. He died of pancreatic cancer on November 1, 2012. Go career Zude was one of China's most decorated Go players. He was believed to be the founder of " Chinese fuseki". Although, according to Kato Masao, this pattern originated in Japan, Chen was the person who made this fuseki famous. Yasunaga Hajime, a Japanese pro-level amateur and teacher of many professionals, claims in his books that Chen saw the fuseki first when attending a study group and exhibition matches organized by Yasunaga and held in China. Zude was President of the Zhongguo Qiyuan and also served in the Chinese Weiqi Association from 1992 - 2003 as chairman. He was awarded 9 dan in 1982. Nie Weiping (; born 17 August 1952) is a professional Go player. Biography Born in Shenzhou, Nie began learning Go at the age of nine and won the inaugural World Amateur Go Championship in 1979. Nie was given 9 dan rank in 1982. He became famous in the Go world after leading China to victory in the China-Japan Supermatches, beating several top Japanese players including his teacher, Fujisawa Hideyuki , also known as Shuko Fujisawa, was a Japanese professional Go player.
