Chang Volleyball
Federbrau was a women's volleyball club, based in Bangkok, Thailand. The club played in the Thailand Volleyball Championship Serie A, which started in 2008. History The team won the 2009 Asian Club Championship, after defeating Tianjin Bridgestone at the final game. Onuma Sittirak won the MVP and Best Spiker award, Nootsara Tomkom Best Server and Wanna Buakaew Best Libero. In the 2010 Asian Club Championship the team successfully retained the crown against Zhetysu Almaty from Kazakhstan. Nootsara Tomkom won the MVP award and Sittirak winning the Best Scorer and Best Spiker awards for Federbrau. As the winner of the Asian Volleyball Confederation club tournament, the team earned the right to play at the 2010 FIVB Women's Club World Championship. Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai ( th, เกียรติพงษ์ รัชตเกรียงไกร; RTGS: Kiattiphong Ratchatakriangkrai, born July 17, 1966 in Nakhon Ratchasima), popularly known as Coach Aod ( th, โค้ชอ๊อต), was the head coach of the Thailand women's national volleyball team. He got bachelor's degree from Kasetsart University He was a member of Thailand men's national volleyball team and, following retirement from playing, became a staff coach in Thailand's national volleyball team. Coach Aod learn how to coach volleyball from a Chinese coach before becoming a head coach. In December 2014 he married Feng Kun. In 2016, Coach Aod decided to end his tenure as national team coach to spend more time with his family. Wilavan Apinyapong
Wilavan Apinyapong ( th, วิลาวัณย์ อภิญญาพงศ์; RTGS: Wilawan Aphinyaphong, born June 6, 1984) is a Thai professional volleyball player who plays for Azerbaijan Club Igtisadchi Baku in the Azerbaijan Super League and the Thai National Team as an Outside Hitter. She was the captain for the Thailand women's national volleyball team from 2008 to 2016 when Pleumjit took the captain role. Apinyapong led the Thai team to win the first gold medal at 2009 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship and beaten China 3-1 for the first time in history. She again led the team to victory in the 2013 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship where she also received the MVP award of the event. Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship
The Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, previously the AVC Cup Women's Club Tournament (between 1999 and 2002), is an annual continental club volleyball competition organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in 1999 in Thailand. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively. The winner of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship qualifies for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. Tianjin Bohai Bank holds the record for most victories, winning the competition five times. Teams from China have won the tournament eight times, the most for any nation. The current Asian club champions is Kuanysh, who defeated Altay (3–2) in the final of the 2022 event.
