Leonidas Frank "Lon" Chaney (April 1, 1883 – August 26, 1930) was an American actor. He is regarded as one of the most versatile and powerful actors of cinema, renowned for his characterizations of tortured, often grotesque and afflicted characters, and his groundbreaking artistry with makeup. Chaney was known for his starring roles in such silent horror films as ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame'' (1923) and ''The Phantom of the Opera'' (1925). His ability to transform himself using makeup techniques that he developed earned him the nickname "The Man of a Thousand Faces". Chaney Kley Minnis (August 20, 1972 – July 24, 2007) was an American actor. During his career he was best known for his recurring role as Officer Asher on the FX drama ''The Shield'' and as the lead in the horror movie '' Darkness Falls''. Early life Chaney Kley Minnis was born August 20, 1972, in Manassas, Virginia and raised in Denver, Colorado. He attended Denver's Thomas Jefferson High School, and the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, where he earned a BFA in drama. After graduating from college, Kley relocated to Chicago where he began working as a stage actor. Kley starred in a 1998 Chicago Dramatists' production of ''The Angels of Lemnos'', for which he won a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actor. Chaney Glacier
Chaney Glacier is in Glacier National Park in the U.S. state of Montana. The glacier is situated in a cirque to the southeast of Mount Kipp on the eastern side of the Continental Divide. Chaney Glacier is one of several glaciers that have been selected for monitoring by the U.S. Geological Survey's Glacier Monitoring Research program, which is researching changes to the mass balance of glaciers in and surrounding Glacier National Park. The glacier is being monitored using remote sensing equipment and repeat photography, where images of the glacier are taken from identical locations periodically. Since 1911, Chaney glacier has retreated considerably. Between 1966 and 2005, the glacier lost over 29 percent of its surface area. Chaney High School
Chaney High School is a public high school in Youngstown, Ohio, Youngstown, Ohio, United States. It is one of four secondary schools in the Youngstown City School District. Athletic teams compete as the Chaney Cowboys and Cowgirls in the Ohio High School Athletic Association. In 2011, Chaney High School was closed into a vocal Performing Arts school as well as a STEM fields school as part of a restructure by the school district. However, in 2017, it was announced by Youngstown City School District CEO Krish Mohip that Chaney High School would return to a traditional structure as part of the entire district being reconfigured into neighborhood schooling. Hecklers are often known to shout encouraging comments at a performance or event, or to interrupt set-piece speeches, with the intent of disturbing performers and/or participants.
