Chamarajpet
Chamrajpete is a locality in the central part of the city of Bengaluru. It is bordered by Basavanagudi, Banashankari, Chickpet and Majestic. Chamrajpete is one of the oldest areas in Bengaluru, 2.9 km. from Bangalore City Railway Station and BMTC and 37.1 km. to Kempegowda International airport. The main commercial street of Chamrajpete is the Bazar Street, the continuation of which is Bull Temple Road. Chamrajpete was founded in 1892 and the 125th anniversary was celebrated with a 3-day festival in the year 2017. Chamrajpete houses many historical structures such as Kote Sri Prasanna Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Fort High School, Tipu Sultan Summer Palace and Minto Hospital. Sree Ramaseva Mandali
Sree Ramaseva Mandali is an 80 years old cultural organisation known for organising Indian Classical Music Festivals as part of its Rama Navami celebrations at Chamrajpet, Bangalore. The organisation was founded in the year 1939 by Sri S.V.Narayanaswamy Rao at the age of 14. Sree Ramaseva Mandali has hosted who's who of Indian classical music. Bharata Rathna M S Subbalakshmi has performed in the Ramanavami for a record 32 times. K.J. Yesudas has been performing for the past 5 decades. Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Bus Station (Kan: ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೆಗೌಡ ವಾಹನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ) , also known as Majestic Bus Station, is a main bus station in Bengaluru, India. It is located opposite the KSR Bengaluru. Krishna Rajendra Market or K. R. Market is a Namma Metro station on the Green Line serving K. R. Market, Bangalore. It was opened to the public on 18 June 2017. In January 2017, ''The Hindu'' reported that the station would most likely be named Fort (Kote) Station. Chickpet
Chikkapete is a neighborhood in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is one of the city's oldest areas and is famous for its Wholesale & Retail Cloths Shops. It is near the Electric Market area in Bangalore and is a part of the Bangalore South Lok Sabha constituency. Its roots go back to the 16th century. Banashankari, abbreviated as BSK, is a locality in South Bangalore. It gets its name from the Banashankari Amma Temple on Kanakapura Road, one of Bangalore's oldest and well known temples constructed by Subramanya Shetty in 1915. Basavanagudi is a residential and commercial locality in the Indian city of Bangalore. It is located in South Bangalore, along the borders of Jayanagar.
