Chaiya Mitchai (Thai: เอ, ไชยา มิตรชัย) (born April 5, 1974) is a luk thung singer with likay and drama actor from Thailand. Life Mitchai born as Sayma Somboon (nicknamed A) in Wiset Chaichan, Ang Thong, central Thailand on April 5, 1974, to Somsak Jaikwang (ex-Likay actor and songwriter) and Duangduen Somboon (ex-Likay actress). He has a younger sister ( Ann Mitchai), a younger brother (Mit Mitchai) and graduated with a Bachelor of Law from Ramkhamhaeng University. His stage name comes from a combination of the names of two legendary Thai stars, namely Mitr Chaibancha Mitr Chaibancha ( Thai มิตร ชัยบัญชาpronunciation, 28 January 1934 in Phetchaburi, Thailand - 8 October 1970) was a Thai film actor who acted 266 films from 1956 to 1970. Amphoe Wiset Chai Chan
Wiset Chai Chan (, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in the southwestern part of Ang Thong province, central Thailand. History When King Naresuan the Great defeated the Burmese troops at Don Chedi, he led his troops past Phai Cham Sin. He saw the strategic potential of the area with the Noi River as a natural obstacle for the Burmese troops. Thus he established ''Mueang'' Wiset Chai Chan there. In the Rattanakosin era, the Noi River had become shallow and was no longer navigable for water transportation. The government thus moved the central tambon of the ''mueang'' to Bang Kaeo, on the Chao Phraya River bank and called the new area Ang Thong. At the same time, they downgraded the district to Phai Cham Sin District. King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) ordered the district to assume its historical name, Wiset Chai Chan. Channel 8 is a Thai digital television channel that broadcasts entertainment, foreign TV series, and sports. It is owned and operated by RS Vision Company Limited (a subsidiary of RS Group) . The channel is based in Bangkok, Thailand, where it is available on both C and KU bands. Channel 8 broadcasts popular events such as HBO World Championship Boxing plus domestic and self-produced programs. History Channel 8 began broadcasting on a satellite platform in December 2010. It officially launched as a 24-hour free-to-air television channel on 5 January 2011. On 17 August 2013, Channel 8 upgraded its production and broadcast equipment to high-definition. Chaiya Suriyu
Chaiya ( th, ไชยา, ) is a former capital district (''Amphoe mueang'') of Surat Thani province, Southern Thailand. The main town is Talat Chaiya. Geography Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise): Tha Chang and Kapoe of Ranong province; Phato of Chumphon province, and Tha Chana in Surat Thani. To the east is the Gulf of Thailand, with Cape Sui marking the northern end of the Bandon Bay. The eastern part of the district consists of mostly flat low coastal areas, while to the west are the mountains of the Phuket mountain range, including Kaeng Krung National Park. History Laem Pho Beach in the district is thought to have been a Srivijaya Kingdom seaport in the 7th to 13th centuries. Srivijaya was an Indonesian city-state that grew to become an influential maritime power in what is now Southeast Asia.
