Chai Songyue ( Chinese: 柴松岳; November 1941) is a politician of the People's Republic of China. Born in Putuo, Zhejiang Province, Chai joined the Chinese Communist Party in September 1961. He was appointed acting governor of Zhejiang Zhejiang ( or , ; , also romanized as Chekiang) is an eastern, coastal province of the People's Republic of China. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), officially the Communist Party of China (CPC), is the founding and sole ruling party of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
