Chad Stuart
David Stuart Chadwick (10 December 1941 – 20 December 2020) was an English musician and producer, best known as Chad Stuart of 1960's British Invasion duo Chad & Jeremy. Stuart has writing credits on four of the 11 Chad & Jeremy songs which entered the U.S. Hot 100. Stuart has sole credit for the duo's first hit, " Yesterday's Gone" (their only hit in the UK), and credits on "You Are She" (Stuart/Clyde), and "A Summer Song" (Stuart/Metcalfe/Noble), and "What Do You Want With Me" (Stuart/Clyde). Early life Stuart was born on 10 December 1941 in Windermere, Westmorland, a town in the North West of England. His father, Frank Chadwick, was a foreman in the lumber industry and his mother, Frieda Chadwick (née Bedford), was a nurse. Windermere

Jimmie Haskell (born Sheridan Pearlman, November 7, 1926 – February 4, 2016) was an American composer and arranger for motion pictures and a wide variety of popular artists, including Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Steely Dan, Billy Joel, and the Everly Brothers. His career spanned over six decades. Biography Haskell was born in Brooklyn, New York. He entered the music business in the 1950s doing arrangements for Imperial Records. His first professional arrangement was a chart of "Nature Boy", sold to Lionel Hampton. He became the arranger of choice for Ricky Nelson, arranging and producing around 75 records for the artist, including such hits as " There's Nothing I Can Say" and "Hello Mary Lou". Judith Durham (born Judith Mavis Cock; 3 July 1943 – 5 August 2022) was an Australian singer, songwriter and musician who became the lead singer of the Australian folk music group the Seekers in 1963. David Anderle (July 9, 1937 – September 1, 2014) was an American A&R man, record producer, and portrait artist. He is best known for his business associations with the Beach Boys during the production of the band's unfinished album ''Smile'' and the formation of the group's company Brother Records. ''Distant Shores'' is the fifth studio album by the English duo Chad & Jeremy. It was released on 15 August 1966. ''Distant Shores'' was recorded between November 1965 and March 1966. This is the first album in which the duo were given time to craft their sound and style. This album is a precursor to their psychedelic album, '' Of Cabbages and Kings''. It includes the first recording of Paul Simon's " Homeward Bound", predating even Simon & Garfunkel's record. The title track was composed by the duo's young bassist, James William Guercio, who went on to his own significant career in the music industry.
