Chad Rempel
Chad Rempel (born May 23, 1981) is a professional Canadian football long snapper who is a free agent. He most recently played for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a two-time Grey Cup champion after winning with the Toronto Argonauts in 2012 and with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2019. University career Rempel played five years of university football with the Saskatchewan Huskies football team. Professional career Rempel was drafted in the third round, 35th overall, in the 2004 CFL Draft by the Edmonton Eskimos. In 2005, Rempel joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a backup wide receiver and special teams player. On June 10, 2006, Rempel was cut by the Blue Bombers in training camp. Long Snapper
In American football, the long snapper (or deep snapper) is a center on special teams whose duty is to snap the football over a longer distance, typically around 15 yards during punts, and 7–8 yards during field goals and extra point attempts. Overview During field goal and point after touchdown attempts, the snap is received by the holder, typically 7–8 yards away. During punts, the snap is delivered to the punter from 13–15 yards away. Following a punt snap, the snapper often executes a blocking assignment and then must cover the kick by running downfield and attempting to stop the opposing team's punt returner from advancing the ball in the opposite direction. Lyndon Rush
Lyndon Rush (born November 24, 1980) is a Canadian retired bobsledder who has competed since 2004. Rush took up bobsleigh after spending five years playing Canadian football for the University of Saskatchewan. He initially trained as a brakeman before switching to driving due to a hamstring injury. Rush won a bronze medal in the four-man event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He won the silver medal in the mixed bobsleigh- skeleton team event at the 2008 FIBT World Championships in Altenberg, Germany.
