Chad Gerlach
Chad Gerlach (born July 13, 1973) is an American former professional road cyclist. Seen as a promising talent in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Gerlach rode for major teams including and , before turning to drugs and alcohol and becoming homeless in 2003. He gained notoriety for his comeback to professional cycling in 2009 after suffering from addiction for approximately five years. Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on Road surface, paved roads. Nevada City Classic
The Nevada City Classic (previously: Tour of Nevada City; Father's Day Bicycle Classic), one of the most historic and challenging professional cycling races in the US, is held in Nevada City, California. Established in 1960, the Nevada City Classic commonly occurs on Father's Day and brings in thousands of visitors to Nevada County. While the first race brought out approximately 1,500 spectators, the numbers have swelled to 15,000 spectators in recent years. Sponsored by the Nevada City Chamber of commerce, the schedule includes Women's, Junior's, and Master's races, in addition to the Men’s main event. Past winners include Greg LeMond. The 1998 Tour de Langkawi was the third edition of the Tour de Langkawi, a cycling stage race that took place in Malaysia. It started on 18 February in Langkawi and ended on 1 March in Kuala Lumpur.
