Chad Anderson (politician)
Chad Anderson (born April 19, 1979) is an American politician and former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represented District 50B in the south-central Twin Cities metropolitan area. Early life, education, and career Anderson attended Bethel University, graduating with a B.A. He is a real estate broker. Minnesota House of Representatives Anderson was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in a special election on February 9, 2016 and assumed office on February 17, 2016. He lost re-election to Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) candidate Andrew Carlson. Personal life Anderson and his wife, Anne, have four children. They reside in Bloomington, Minnesota. Ann T. Lenczewski (born May 9, 1960) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she represented District 50B, which included portions of the city of Bloomington in Hennepin County in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Early life, education, and career Lenczewski graduated from Bloomington Jefferson High School in Bloomington, then went on to the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology. Bloomington is a suburban city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, on the north bank of the Minnesota River, above its confluence with the Mississippi River, south of downtown Minneapolis. The Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) is the Minnesota affiliate of the U.S. Democratic Party. As of 2022, it controls four of Minnesota's eight U.S. House seats, both of its U.S. Senate seats, the Minnesota House of Representatives, and all other statewide offices, including the governorship. Beginning in 2023, the party will also control the Minnesota Senate, giving it full control of state government. The 2016 Minnesota House of Representatives election was held in the U.S. state of Minnesota on November 8, 2016, to elect members to the House of Representatives of the 90th Minnesota Legislature.
