Cha Kee Chin
Cha Kee Chin ( zh, s=谢琪清, t=謝琪清, poj=Chiā Kî-chhiⁿ, p=Xiè Qíqīng) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Rasah since May 2018. He served as Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bukit Kepayang from March 2008 to May 2018. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalition. Request for probe into distribution of food baskets On 25 April 2020, Cha wrote a letter to then Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to request him to order a probe into the distribution of food baskets to lower-income (B40, meaning Bawah 40%, the 40% bottom, describing the 40% people with lowest income) group affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure transparency and prevent abuse. Democratic Action Party
The Democratic Action Party (abbreviation: DAP; ms, Parti Tindakan Demokratik; ; ta, ஜனநாயக செயல் கட்சி) is a Centre-left politics, centre-left social democracy, social democratic political party in Malaysia. 2008 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Saturday, 8 March 2008 for members of the 12th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mahiaddin bin Md Yasin (born 15 May 1947), commonly known as Muhyiddin bin Muhammad Yassin ( ms, محيي الدين بن محمد ياسين, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; ), is a Malaysian politician who served as the 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia from March 2020 to August 2021.
