Ceremonial Squadron
The Ceremonial Squadron ("C Sqn") is the HQ Unit of Training Group of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps. History The Ceremonial Squadron was created December 1998 and officially established on 1 May 1999. The unit has gained recognition of high standard of drill on its debut performance on the Hong Kong Cadet Force Joint Annual Parade on 7 November 1999 at Hong Kong Police Training School. Moreover, it is the first time the air cadets have an escorting unit to the HKACC Colour equipped with ceremonial dress (No.1 Service Dress). Ceremonial Squadron is under the training group of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps. Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps
The Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps () is a voluntary uniformed group (although employees working at headquarters are paid) subsidised by the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong government and is registered under the Societies Ordinance as a non-profit making charitable organisation. Created in 1971 with ties to the British Armed Forces' Combined Cadet Force, it is an aviation-orientated, disciplined youth organisation; aiming to provide its members with initial aviation education, to develop their leadership capabilities and to promote their social awareness through community service. It is also an organisation supported by Cathay Pacific Airways and Dragon Air for aviation training. National Day Flag Raising
The Flag Raising Ceremony is a traditional military ceremony of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) which is done publicly on Tiananmen Square in the capital of Beijing. The People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison is a garrison of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), responsible for defence duties in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) since the sovereignty of Hong Kong was transferred to China in 1997. Hong Kong Adventure Corps
The Hong Kong Adventure Corps is a voluntary uniformed group subsidised by the Hong Kong government and the Hong Kong Jockey Club. It was created in 1995 with ties to the British Army's Army Cadet Force and Combined Cadet Force. Like the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps and Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, the HKAC exists to serve the Hong Kong community. The HKAC's values are based in those of the British Army, providing a tough and challenging training with a distinctive military tone of discipline and esprit de corps. Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps
Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps is a youth organization based in Hong Kong and formed in 1968 by former Royal Naval Reserve officers by the creation of Hong Kong Law (Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps Ordinance) The HKSCC was linked to British Armed Forces' Combined Cadet Force and Sea Cadet Corps. Since the handover in 1997, the HKSCC is mostly a government funded organisation and does not have any links to the People's Liberation Army Navy. It also receives financial support from Hong Kong Jockey Club and The Community Chest of Hong Kong. Royal Air Force Uniform
The Royal Air Force uniform is the standardised military dress worn by members of the Royal Air Force. The predominant colours of Royal Air Force uniforms are blue-grey and Wedgwood blue. Squadron leader (Sqn Ldr in the RAF ; SQNLDR in the RAAF and RNZAF; formerly sometimes S/L in all services) is a commissioned rank in the Royal Air Force and the air forces of many countries which have historical British influence.
