''Cephonodes titan'' is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Ambon. It is the largest species of the genus ''Cephonodes ''Cephonodes'' is a genus of moths in the family Sphingidae. The Sphingidae are a family of moths (Lepidoptera) called sphinx moths, also colloquially known as hawk moths, with many of their caterpillars known as “hornworms”; it includes about 1,450 species.
