Hemel Hempstead () is a town in the Dacorum district in Hertfordshire, England, northwest of London, which is part of the Greater London Urban Area. The population at the 2011 census was 97,500. The GolfSixes Cascais is an unofficial money team golf tournament on the European Tour. The inaugural edition was played at Centurion Club in St Albans, England in May 2017. It featured a 32-player field consisting of 16 teams of two, each representing a nation, competing for a €1 million purse. Rules The first day's play has the teams split into four groups of four. In the group stages three points are given for winning a match, with one point given for a draw. The top two teams from each group progress to the knockout stages – the quarterfinals, the semifinals, a 3rd/4th place playoff match and the final – all of which were contested on the second and final day. The winner of each match is the team with the most holes won after a six-hole contest. A greensomes Foursomes, also known as alternate shot, is a pairs playing format in the sport of golf. Aramco Team Series
The Aramco Team Series is a professional women's golf competition that is part of the Ladies European Tour (LET), first played in 2020. The inaugural tournament was played as the Saudi Ladies Team International at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) by the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. It was the penultimate LET event of the 2020 season and followed the Aramco Saudi Ladies International. 2021 saw the competition expanded to become the Aramco Team Series, with four tournaments to be held in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain and Saudi Arabia, each with a US$1 million prize fund. Format The tournament is a team competition with a total of 26 teams (36 in 2020 and 2021), each team consisting of three professionals and one amateur. LIV Golf () is a professional golf tour financed by the Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia. The name "LIV" refers to the Roman numerals for 54, the score if every hole on a par-72 course were birdied and the number of holes to be played at LIV events. The first LIV Golf Invitational Series event started on 9 June 2022, at the Centurion Club near London, England. The Invitational Series is to become the LIV Golf League in 2023. The tour has been accused by Western media sources of being used by the Saudi monarchy, which has been criticized for its corruption and human rights abuses, to improve its public image through sports.
