Centro Financiero Confinanzas (English: Confinanzas Financial Center), also known as Torre de David (the Tower of David), is an unfinished abandoned skyscraper in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. It is the third highest skyscraper in the country after the twin towers of Parque Central Complex. The construction of the tower began in 1990 but was halted in 1994 due to the Venezuelan banking crisis of 1994, Venezuelan banking crisis. As of 2018, the building remains incomplete and unused. Caracas (, ), officially Santiago de León de Caracas, abbreviated as CCS, is the capital and largest city of Venezuela, and the center of the Metropolitan Region of Caracas (or Greater Caracas). Cúa
Cúa (founded in 1690) is a small city capital of the Urdaneta Municipality, located in the Miranda State (Estado Miranda) in the north of Venezuela with an altitude of 490 m. Cúa is noted for warm and clear weather, with year-round sunshine and 60 days of rainfall annually, and an average temperature that range from 18 °C to 28 °C, but with relative low humidity. David Henry Wilson (born 1937, in London) is an English writer. As an author he is best known for his children's stories such as the '' Jeremy James'' series. Wilson has also had a number of plays produced in the United Kingdom, both for children and adults. He is also the author of '' The Coachman Rat'' (1989), a satirical novel based on the Cinderella story. Biography Wilson was educated at Dulwich College and Pembroke College, Cambridge. "Tower of David" is the third episode of the third season of the American television drama series ''Homeland'', and the 27th episode overall. It aired on Showtime on October 13, 2013. Plot Brody (Damian Lewis), suffering from two bullet wounds in the abdomen, is taken to the "Tower of David", an unfinished skyscraper project in Caracas inhabited by squatters. Ernesto Emilio Villegas Poljak is a journalist, politician, and writer from Venezuela. Biography Ernesto Villegas was born in Caracas in 1970. He is the youngest of eight children, two of them, Mario and Vladimir, Alice, Clara, Esperanza, Tatiana and Asia.
