Central Pointe (UTA Station)
Central Pointe station is a light rail station in South Salt Lake, Utah, in the United States, served by all three lines of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX light rail system. In December 2013, the station also became the western terminus for the S Line (formerly known as Sugar House Streetcar). Description The TRAX portion of the station is located at 221 West 2100 South and the streetcar portion is located at 193 West Utopia Avenue. Both portions are accessible from ''eastbound'' 2100 South, a major east–west corridor that marks the boundary between South Salt Lake and Salt Lake City. The station has one island platform for TRAX and a separate side platform for the S Line streetcar. Red Line (TRAX)
The Red Line is a light rail line on the TRAX system in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA). It originally began operation in December 2001 as the peak-hour-only Sandy/University Line, running from the University of Utah south to Sandy Civic Center on the Blue Line. It was later rerouted to South Jordan and renamed the Red Line in August 2011, running as an all-day route. West Valley City, Utah
West Valley City is a city in Salt Lake County and a suburb of Salt Lake City in the U.S. state of Utah. The population was 140,230 at the 2020 census, making it the second-largest city in Utah. South Jordan is a city in south central Salt Lake County, Utah, United States, south of Salt Lake City. Daybreak is a master-planned community over 4,000 acres (16 km²) in size that began construction in 2004 under the direction of land development company Kennecott Land (a subsidiary of Rio Tinto Group) in South Jordan, Utah. In 2016, the balance of the land holding was sold to Minneapolis-based investment firm Värde Partners, and a new development company called Daybreak Communities was formed to continue development of the project. On April 12, 2021, it was announced that the remaining 1,300 undeveloped acres were sold to Larry H. Miller Real Estate. The community is expected to continue building for the next 18 to 20 years. Draper is a city in Salt Lake and Utah counties in the U.S. state of Utah, about south of Salt Lake City along the Wasatch Front. As of the 2020 census, the population is 51,017, up from 7,143 in 1990. Draper is part of two metropolitan areas; the Salt Lake County portion is in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, while the Utah County portion is in the Provo-Orem metropolitan area.
