The Central District of Kerman County ( fa, بخش مرکزی شهرستان کرمان) is a district (bakhsh) in Kerman County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 557,236, in 142,815 families. The district has four cities: Kerman, Baghin, Ekhtiarabad, and Zangiabad. Bakhsh
A ( fa, بخش, also romanized as ) is a third-level administrative division of Iran. While sometimes translated as "county," it is more accurately translated as "district," similar to a township in the United States or a district of England.
