Central Coast Division Of Country Rugby League
The Central Coast Division of Country Rugby League is a rugby league competition based on the Central Coast of New South Wales between Sydney and Newcastle. It is currently ran by Terrigal Junior and longtime volunteer Ben Spackman he has been president for both Terrigal junior and senior clubs and has coached multiple teams throughout his years at the club. Spackman has been running the central coast competition for multiple years now and has made significant changes to the central coast competitions. It was founded in 1947 as a junior competition for the Newcastle club, Lakes United. In 1967, it was upgraded again to full membership of the Country Rugby League as Group 12. In 1981, it was renamed Central Coast Division. The division covers the entire region of the Central Coast from Woy Woy and Umina in the south up to Budgewoi and Gwandalan in the north. Toukley Hawks
The Toukley Hawks are an Australian rugby league football youth club based in the suburb of Toukley on the Central Coast of NSW. They have numerous teams competing in competitions run by the Central Coast Division of Country Rugby League, from U/7s through to First Grade. The Hawks' current home ground is Darren Kennedy Oval and their traditional colours are blue and gold. Toukley reached their maiden first grade Grand Final in 2022 and won against the Erina Eagles 20-10, their first premiership since the club began in 1967. The St Edwards Bears are an Australian junior rugby league football club associated with St Edward's College, East Gosford, on the Central Coast of NSW. They have numerous teams competing in competitions run by the Central Coast Division of Country Rugby League, from Under 7s through to Under 16s. Since 2013, the club has also fielded a team in the senior, Open Age competition. The Bears play their home matches on the grounds of the college. Their traditional colours are red and black. Newcastle & Hunter Community Rugby League is the governing body of second tier rugby league in the Newcastle and Hunter region. Formed in 2006 after a merger between the Maitland & Coalfields Rugby League and Lower Hunter Rugby League Competitions. It is now the largest senior Rugby League competition in the world. Newcastle & Hunter Rugby League competitions consists of five senior men's divisions, A Grade, B Grade, C Grade, Northern Conference & Southern Conference, as well as two Ladies League Tag divisions and Ladies Tackle. Ourimbah Wyoming Magpies
The Ourimbah Wyoming Magpies are an Australian rugby league football club based in the suburb of Ourimbah on the Central Coast of NSW. They have numerous teams competing in competitions run by the Central Coast Division of Country Rugby League, from U/7s through to First Grade. The Magpies' current home ground is Bill Sohier Park and their traditional colours are black and white. History Ourimbah cites its establishment date as 1913, when the club competed in Second Grade of the Newcastle Rugby Union. The team were runners-up to North Newcastle, losing the Final by 18 points to nine. Ourimbah was a founding member of the Central Coast's first organised rugby league competition in 1915, along with Erina, Matcham, Wyong and Yarramalong. At the conclusion to that first season, Ourimbah upset the favourites, Erina, in a final, winning by three points to nil. Competition was suspended after the 1915 season. The Gosford Kariong Storm ''(formally known as Gosford Giants, Gosford Townies, Kariong Kookaburras)'' is a rugby league club based on the Central Coast, New South Wales region of Australia.
