Cenk Gönen
Cenk Gönen (born 21 February 1988) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for TFF Second League club Esenler Erokspor. Club career After a season with Denizlispor in the 2006–07 season, he secured a first-team place as a goalkeeper. In the 2007–08 season, he was given the number 1 squad number. After an impressive season with Denizlispor, Cenk was transferred to Turkish giants Beşiktaş for €1 million, plus a player in exchange. He signed a five-year contract with the club, shortly after the arrival of Hakan Arıkan. On 22 February 2014, during a game against Galatasaray which ended 1–0 for Galatasaray, Cenk fell unconscious after colliding with teammate Pedro Franco in an attempt to dive for the ball. The 2014–15 Süper Lig (known as the Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons) was the 57th season of the Süper Lig, the highest tier Association football, football league of Turkey. The season was named after former Beşiktaş J.K., Beşiktaş club president Süleyman Seba, who died in 2014. Teams Elazığspor, Antalyaspor and Kayserispor were relegated at the end of the 2013–14 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the standings. Elazığspor was at top level for two years, while Antalyaspor and Kayserispor returned to second level after six and ten years, respectively. The 2013–14 Süper Lig (known as the Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons) was the 56th season of the Süper Lig, the highest tier football league of Turkey. The season began on 17 August 2013. Galatasaray were the defending champions, but Fenerbahçe matched their league title record of 19 after drawing 0–0 with Çaykur Rizespor on 27 April. Teams İstanbul BB, Orduspor and Mersin İdman Yurdu were relegated at the end of the 2012–13 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the standings. Galatasaray are the defending champions. The season began on 17 August 2012 and ended on 19 May 2013. On 5 May, Galatasaray won a record 19th Turkish title after beating Sivasspor 4–2. The 2011–12 Süper Lig (known as the ''Spor Toto Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 54th season of the Süper Lig, the top level football league of Turkey. Fenerbahçe were the defending champions. The start date of the league was due to be 7 August 2011, but due to the match fixing scandal in Turkey it began instead on 9 September 2011 and was concluded on 12 May 2012. The 2009–10 Süper Lig (known as the ''Turkcell Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd season since its establishment. The season commenced on 7 August 2009 with Istanbul B.B. hosting defending champions Beşiktaş at Atatürk Olympic Stadium. The last matches were played on 16 May 2010. Bursaspor won the league beating defending champions Beşiktaş 2–1 at home. They beat second placed Fenerbahçe by just one point after they could only manage a 1–1 home draw against Trabzonspor. The 2008–09 Süper Lig (also known as ''Turkcell Super League'' due to sponsoring reasons) was the fifty-first season since its establishment. It began on 22 August 2008 and ended on 31 May 2009. Galatasaray were the defending champions. Beşiktaş clinched the championship after winning at Denizlispor on the last matchday. The latter barely avoided relegation after finishing in a three-way tie on points with Gençlerbirliği and Konyaspor. Head-to-head comparison between those three teams eventually resulted in the demotion of Konyaspor, who joined Kocaelispor and Hacettepe on their way to the second-level First League. The 2007–08 Süper Lig season, (also known as the Turkcell Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons), was the 50th anniversary of top-flight professional football in Turkey. It was won by Galatasaray, who won their 17th championship. Ali Artuner
Ali Artuner (5 September 1944 – 16 February 2001) was a Turkish footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Göztepe and the Turkey national team in the 1960s, rising to the position of captain on both teams. In his hometown of İzmir, there are many sports complexes and tournaments bearing his name. He is also the uncle of former Turkish international goalkeeper, Cenk Gönen. Playing career Club career Born in İzmir, Artuner started out as a halfback. However, he left school at the age of 17, and made his professional debut for Göztepe as goalkeeper that same year (1961). He went on to play 15 consecutive seasons for his team in the Süper Lig. He also helped them win the 1968–69 and 1969–70 editions of the Turkish Cup, as well as the 1970 Turkish Super Cup. Pedro Camilo Franco Ulloa (; born 23 April 1991) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Fortaleza CEIF.
