Celine Brun-Lie
Celine Marie Knudtzon Brun-Lie (born 18 March 1988) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier. She won a bronze medal at the 2006 Junior World Ski Championships, recorded a fourth place at the 2007 Junior World Ski Championships and won a gold medal in relay at the 2008 Junior World Ski Championships. She made her World Cup debut in March 2007 in Stockholm, with a twentieth place. She recorded her first top-ten result in December 2007, with a tenth place in Rybinsk, and finished on the podium for the first time in December 2008, when she finished second in the sprint race in Davos. She also competed at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009, recording a twelfth place in the sprint. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver she reached the finals of both her events, coming sixth in the Individual Sprint and fifth (with Astrid Jacobsen) in the Team Sprint. SK Njård is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Vestre Aker, Oslo. It is named after Njörðr in Norse mythology. Founded in 1924, it has sections for alpine skiing, fencing, team handball, cross-country skiing, tennis, gymnastics, and rhythmic gymnastics, orienteering together with IL Heming (as Heming/Njård), and has also had sections for bandy and basketball. Astrid Jacobsen
Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen (born 22 January 1987) is a Norwegian cross-country skier and a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). She skis with the IL Heming club in Oslo, near Holmenkollen. Her greatest achievement is winning the gold medal in sprint at the 2007 World Championships. On 22 April 2020, she announced her retirement from cross-country skiing in favour of medical studies. Career Before 2006/07 season Prior to the 2006/07 season Jacobsen had competed in five World Cup events, three sprint races and two pursuits. One sprint in Drammen in the 2004/05 season and the rest at the end of the 2005/06 season. Her best result in those races was a 10th place in the freestyle sprint in Changchun, China where she lost in the semi final, having had the third best qualifying time.
