Cedric Waegemans
Cedric Waegemans (born 26 December 1984) is a Belgian former professional darts player who played in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. Career Waegemans won the Belgium National Championship in 2013. Apart from this he has only made one quarter-final appearance in WDF ranked events, in the 2012 Luxembourg Open. He did however qualify for the 2015 BDO World Darts Championship, beating Jeroen Geerdink, Martin Atkins and Jermaine Wattimena en route in the playoff qualifiers in Hull, winning one of the four spots available. British Darts Organisation
The British Darts Organisation (BDO) was a darts organisation founded on 7 January 1973 by Olly Croft. Made up of 66 member counties, it oversaw professional, semi-professional and amateur darts competitions in Britain. The BDO was a founder member of the World Darts Federation in 1976. It also staged a BDO World Darts Championship, World Professional Darts Championship from 1978 to 2020. In the early 1990s, a dispute between Olly Croft and the top darts players over the decline in TV coverage and sponsorship led to an acrimonious Split in darts, split in the game, with the players breaking away to form their own governing body which became the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The 2015 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship was the 38th World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 30th staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. 2014 BDO champion Stephen Bunting did not defend his title, as he switched to the rival PDC organisation at the start of the season. Martin Atkins (born 24 December 1965) is an English professional darts player. His nickname is The Assassin. Career Atkins has been a Yorkshire county player since 1996 and has represented the England national side in many occasions including 3 times in the Six Nations, winning all three, and once in the World Cup in 2011, contributing to England's best performance since 1995. Jermaine Wattimena (born 9 March 1988) is a Dutch darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. Career Wattimena won the first event he entered as he claimed the 2008 Malta Open by beating Vincent Busuttil in the final. He made his British Darts Organisation debut in a major event at the World Masters and won four games to reach the last 24 where he lost 3–0 to Steve Douglas. Eddy "Eddy" Sims (born 2 December 1971 in Geelong) is a former professional Australian darts player Career Sims began playing in WDF ranked events in 2006, mainly playing in events based in his homeland. He reached the quarter-finals of the Pacific Masters in 2006 and 2007 and followed it up by reaching the final of the 2007 Australian Masters where he lost to Simon Whitlock. Sims made three ranked semi final appearances in 2008, in the Pacific Masters, Malaysian Open and the New Zealand Masters.
