Carl Cederschiöld is a Swedish former Moderate Party politician. He was an active member of the Confederation of Swedish Conservative and Liberal Students and was chairman between 1972 and 1973. He was elected to Stockholm City Council in 1976. With the Moderate election victory in 1991, Cederschiöld became Mayor and Commissioner of Finance. Ulla Margareta ''Charlotte'' Cederschiöld (born 28 September 1944 in Gävle) is a Swedish politician and was a Member of the European Parliament until 2009. She is a member of the Moderate Party, part of the European People's Party - European Democrats group. She sits on the European Parliament's Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection. She is also a substitute for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, a member of the Delegation for relations with Russia and a substitute for the Delegation for relations with the United States. She has been married to Carl Cederschiöld since 1972, with whom she has two children Sebastian (1974) and Anna (1981). Gunnar Cederschiöld
Gunnar Cederschiöld (Mathias Gunnar Cederschiöld, 30 July 1887 – 21 November 1949) was a Swedish author, image artist and fencing, fencer. Gunnar Cederschiöld graduated in Gothenburg in 1906, after which he studied painting at Valand Academy there and in Copenhagen. He then studied in Paris at Académie de la Grande Chaumière and as a private student for Théophile Steinlen. As a writer he became known first through letters on Paris to Swedish newspapers, then during and after World War I through lively and vivid depictions which, even when having the character of novels, by their type are skilled journalism. They are collected in a series of books illustrated with Cederschiöld's quickly accomplished drawings. In 1919 Cederschiöld was managing director of AB France-Afrique in Paris, and for Société genérale des Allumettes in 1927. Hugo Cederschiöld
General Hugo Montgomery Cederschiöld (25 September 1878 – 17 March 1968) was a senior officer in the Swedish Army. He served as commander of Svea Life Guards (1936–1938), as Commandant of Stockholm (1938–1945) and as Defence District Commander of Stockholm Defence District (1942–1945) and Norrtälje Defence District (1943–1945). Cederschiöld also served as Chief of His Majesty's Military Staff (1950–1963). He also competed at the 1912 Summer Olympics. Margareta Cordelia Cederschiöld (30 December 1879 – 29 July 1962) was a Swedish tennis player who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. She was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the outdoor singles. In the indoor singles she lost in the first round. In the indoor mixed doubles she and her partner Carl Kempe finished fourth without competing in the bronze medal match. Hedvig ''Maria'' Reddita Cederschiöld (29 June 1856, Stockholm – 19 October 1935, Stockholm), was a Swedish journalist and women's rights activist. She was the chief editor of the foreign office at ''Aftonbladet'' in 1909–1921, and the first woman in Sweden to hold such a position at a Swedish newspaper. She was also a secretary and vice chairperson of the Swedish branch of the International Council of Women. Life Maria Cederschiöld was born to the official and noble Gustaf Cederschiöld (1812–1860) and Elsa Vilhelmina (Mimmy) Borg (1820–1889) and was the sister of the linguist Gustaf Cederschiöld. Maria Cederschiöld (deaconess)
Anna Maria Cederschiöld (20 November 1815 in Växjö - 7 January 1892 in Lund) was a Swedish noble deaconess and nurse. She was a pioneer in the education of deaconesses and nursing in Sweden, and the first head of the first Deaconess institution in Sweden, Ersta diakoni, in 1851-1862. Life She was the daughter of the vicar in Forsheda, Kasper Hakvin Cederschiöld, and Helena Sofia Ingelman. She was engaged to her foster brother, but the engagement was broken by his death, an event which is thought to have caused her interest in religion and introduced her in religious circles. She was educated at home and managed a girls school in Lund in 1848-49, before she was promised the place as head of the future Deaconess Institution, which was at that point planned to be founded in Stockholm.
